you can dip in resin-ish stuff to give it a harder, more resilient coating. kinda like varnish i guess

Personally, I’ll probably have no need whatsoever for a machine that does this kind of service, But I have to say that facial scan was incedibly freaky. Mind you, I’m in the building trade and I could see where this kind of feature would come in handy for 3D visualisations
But is the final model made in resin?
It’s a powder similar in consistency to flour. It is applied layer by layer (at around .003″ thick) with a binder that holds it together. It does this as many times as it takes to create the 3D model. You then just vacuum out the powder that wasn’t used and pull your model from the bay.
but what comes out from the printer??? thats paper or what?? what happens if u brake it?
