My Review
This is an absolute must have for anyone interested in performing great close-up magic. The gimmick is absolutely brilliant. The DVD goes over one trick called Portal (demoed on Penguin) in detail. Dan White also gives ideas on what this gimmick can be applied to. Overall, I think this a versatile gimmick that when applied with your own style, it can create great reactions from laymen. This video documents our Daft Punk Helmet build from start to finish. The plastic parts were modeled in SolidWorks and then printed on 3 3D printers. The visor was vacuum formed in my kitchen over a CNC machined mold. We used express PCB to build the circuit boards and are running a PIC 16F on each half of the helmet.
