A quick test print of the new 3D printer at work

Wow. Demo of 3-D objects that came out of a 3D printer. What’s amazing is that complex objects, with moving parts come out of the printer in one shot (in this case a ball bearing with balls inside).

I have been always interested in making a 3d printer. However, all the sites I have found say you will have to pay $2000+ for supplies to build it. Is there anyway I can use a laser printer or ink printer I have already and “transform” it into a working, 3d one?!? Thanks.
It also has to be CHEAP

Working centrifugal fan and motor actuated butterfly damper made with a dimension BST 3d printer / rapid prototyping machine. The fan is belt driven and capable of producing about 1.5 inches (H20) of static pressure.
