Hey, I want to get started in 3d graphic design and I would like to know what the best program to use is. I know that there’s Blender, but it seems to be not just designing since you need Python code to run it. (Don’t even mention using Blender please. I know all about it and it is not what I want) I don’t want to use Python. I just want an open-source program just for 3d graphic design.

It must be easy and don t need me to draw the drawings on paper first and then scan it to the computer .

If u told me about agood pragram to design ( 3D) animated cartoon with my conditions u will get 10 points , believ me .

I purchased a PC program used for NFL handicapping. It came with historical data going way back to 2001. I am a techie at heart and would like to experiment with my own formulas and use the raw statistical data that came with the program but it appears to be in a proprietary or encrypted format. There is one file for each years’ worth of statistics named with a “.nfl” extension. I tried opening the files with a binary editor but the data is completely unrecognizable. It is a VB application.

Is anyone aware of a flat file based database used by Visual Basic that may be being utilized here? Any suggestion on how to reverse engineer the data files? Or is it possible the data is encrypted, in which case it would be virtually impossible to decrypt?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

and i mean 3 dimensions actually
that means design a floor plan and browse in it to see positions of furniture and appliances , i used to use a program named 3d home but i cant find it no more , can anyone help

I realize that a program doesnt contain its original source code after being compiled.

i am looking for a program that would be relatively easy to use. im designing custom engine parts and need a program that i could use.

I’m going to do an addition to the home. I was looking for a 3D home design program that is either web-based or a free download. First one to answer with a link I like gets 10 points!

I need to convert a jpeg file to a file that will work in a 3-D printer. Any suggestions will help. I’m new to CAD and so far I have not found a software that will manipulate a jpg photo to make a model to send to a 3D printer.

I want to become a 3d designer and animator,and I want to get a good hold on what it’s like. So please give me a hand.
