Just wonder How much is the average salary a 3D modeler can get in working in LA.
The job is using Alias (autodesk studio tools alias 2008) to build 3D model and using 3D printer to print the prototype.

I want to be able to reverse-engineer shareware software & i need a mentor to teach me the basics. I’m really willing to learn. Where should i look??
i have the executable files – i was trying to reverse-engineer ‘crack-me’s i donwloaded from the internet using SoftIce and Win32ASM but it seems i don’t understand a thing and these programs aren’t exactly ”user friendly”

what is the best material out there to rapid prototype a part from when using it for a sand cast mold?

As an Industrial Design student I will be using Autodesk software, as well as Adobe software which I know demands a lot. What I don’t know is what type of computer to look at for my needs. I don’t trust sales clerks so can someone give me a breakdown of what specific things I need in a computer for programs such as After Effects, 3D max, Autocad ect?
